At Music Farming, we believe everyone should have access to the joy and benefits of music, no exceptions.

We are actively inviting businesses to commit to annual membership and support organizations that provide music education & programming to inspire creativity and expand access for all. Join us!

Music Farming is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that has zero ties to actual farming, chickens, or almanacs.                                            

WHAT MUSIC EDUCATION MEANS TO US

"Music Education" can encompass a wide range of curricula, experiences, and contexts outside of the classroom, including:

Music Instruction: 

  • Instrumental, Vocal, and Music Technology instruction.

  • Music Appreciation: Programs exploring genres and cultural contexts.

  • Cultural Education: Exploring diverse musical genres and their effects on culture.

  • Lifelong Learning: Opportunities & Programs for all ages to engage in music.

Community & Team Building:

  • Community Programs: Accessible workshops and events.

  • Collaborative Learning: Group musical instruction and projects.

  • Performance Opportunities: Public performances that build confidence.

Board of Directors

  • Danny Clinch

    Danny Clinch loves music. He listens to it, plays it, photographs it, and films it. Through this passion, Danny has established himself as one of the premier photographers across all of music and entertainment. He has shot a wide range of artists, from Johnny Cash to Tupac Shakur, from Bjork to Bruce Springsteen.

    His work appears on hundreds of album covers and in publications like Vanity Fair, Spin, Rolling Stone, GQ, Esquire, and more.

  • Maria Barba Clinch

    Maria jumped into the madness that is NYC in the ’80s and after graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology, represented several fashion, music and celebrity photographers before partnering with her husband Danny Clinch, to run their photography and filmmaking business.

    After raising her two children, she is currently the executive producer of the Transparent Clinch Gallery, an immersive art gallery and community hub in Asbury Park NJ that she founded with her husband Danny.

  • Liz Lambert

    Liz Lambert was born and raised in West Texas. A former attorney turned hotelier, she began her career in hospitality two decades ago, transforming a rundown motel on South Congress into an iconic boutique hotel, Hotel San Jose.

    Liz went on to found Bunkhouse Group, where she led her team to create, reposition and manage numerous other hotels. She most recently joined MML Hospitality as a partner, where she focuses on creative direction, hotel projects and company culture, while continuing to co-lead concept and interior design at Lambert McGuire Design.

  • Tim Parr

    After selling the first company he founded, Swobo, to Santa Cruz Bicycles, Tim worked at the iconic brand Patagonia in Ventura, CA., and later founded the brand strategy company PARR GOLDMAN & BYRNE. After many years of business consultancy, he decided he should tour the Western US with a bluegrass band melting faces.

    He currently is founder/CEO of CADDIS, the world’s first brand evangelizing awesome aging. In 2021 he gathered a group of unsuspecting heavyweights to launch the non-profit, Music Farming, and is granting money to music education.

  • Eddie Berrang

    Eddie Berrang is a relentless optimist hoping to one day find his missing sock. When not looking behind the dryer, Eddie is either taking the yellow dog for a walk or helping his eight year old daughter figure out how to open a sustainable sushi restaurant. There are many great bands and musicians in the world. Eddie is not one of them but he leads Whalebone, an organization dedicated to helping others in the music world and beyond.

  • Don Glista

    Don Glista

    Don Glista is VP Business & Legal Affairs / Nashville Business Development and Operations at Universal Music Publishing Group in Nashville.  Glista’s music career began in 2010 after completing a masters degree in London.  He started working with the Music Publishers Association, XL Talent/Reverb Music Publishing (a London based independent producer/writer management/publishing company), and assisting UK Music with relevant legal issues.  He was hired into UMPG’s London’s office in 2011 and then relocated to UMPG’s Nashville office in 2020.  As VP in the Business Affairs department, he works closely with the London, LA, and NY offices, while also overseeing all of the Nashville signings.  Additionally, he works with UMPG Classics & Screens which administers and publishes UMPG’s classical and film composers.  In addition to his role in Business Affairs, he helps bring in artists and writers when he has time, which is the part of his job that he is most passionate about.  When he’s not listening to music or at a show, he’s out riding his motorcycle or camping and hiking. 

  • Jeff Burns

    Jeff Burns is an accomplished investor and operator with deep experience across private equity, real estate, and hospitality. As Managing Partner of Bullwhip Capital, he leads strategic investments in high-growth companies and real estate assets. Jeff’s career includes leadership roles at JMI Equity, where he scaled software and services businesses, and HP Hotels, a top hospitality management firm. He’s known for bridging institutional capital with entrepreneurial execution, unlocking value, and building high-performing teams.

    A lifelong music lover, Jeff proudly supports Newport Festivals Foundation and its mission to preserve the legacy and future of music through education and community programs.
